We have checked the status of our physical port facing you and we are worried by a huge number of 34 million pause requests sent by your equipment's flow control on transmit. Your devices can send pause frames to our port in case your switch thinks it's too overloaded to process the traffic we send to it. For instance, if you are downloading and any equipment is unable to process either on bandwidth or switching level, our switch would receive pause requests in order to slow down the switching operation. That usually causes increased latency and packet loss in some cases.
We are not sure when these 34 million pause requests were received, these might be incremented since your customer port first gone up back in November 2016. However, that number is pretty high even if so.
We recommend that you check the physical state of the network ports, in order to be sure you don't have anything working on half duplex, 100 megabits or less, and if you can confirm everything is okay, then you can try to disable flow control on your side on all equipment. Please also look at drops/discards on your ethernet adapter statistics (ifconfig)
Dün sisteme VPN ile login olduğumda aşırı yavaşlık vardı. 200Mbit/sec olan BW'in ancak %50sini kullanmama rağmen olayı çözemeyince bugün mail attım. Onlr da bu cevabı vermiş.
Sistemde Cisco Router, Netgear Gigabit Switch ve 3 adet HP Server var, hepsi 1Gbit üzerinden haberleşiyorlar. Netgear switchde 100Mbit bağlantı sadece ILO'lar. Bütün portlarda Flow Control kapalı. (ama teker teker serverlerin ethernetlerini kontrol etmedim) -etmeli miyim.
